So, as publication date nears, the foreign titles and book covers are rolling in. Below are a selection from the UK, Italy and Germany. The titles don’t bear much resemblance to each other, but I think the covers are oddly related. A lot of storm clouds, dark colors, NYC skyline in the distance.
First up, the UK. The title: Pattern of Fear. Okay, I can live with it I guess. I’m just happy it’s a Penguin book.
Next, Germany. Definitely the most eccentric of the three. Perhaps I just don’t understand German tastes. One of my friends asked me why they put a picture of me in a suit on the cover. If only!
And finally, Italy. I love those Italians. The translation is Tiger Hunt. And the big eyes staring down — I like them too.
